Ribbeck Slim Cup

The Ribbeck Slim Cup system with its modular structure is designed for cementless anchoring in the acetabulum.

The spherical outer shell with a flattened pole is made of Ti6Al4V alloy (ISO 5832-3). The surface is rough after being abraded. Polyethylene and XL-PE inlays are available for different head diameters. A dysplasia inlay is also offered. Every cup size has its own inlay, resulting in minimal wall thickness of the outer shell. Primary stability is achieved through a dynamic press-fit. 
Position markers on the cup’s plane surface allow the screw holes to be aligned in a cranio-lateral direction. A set of corresponding instruments for this particular implant guarantees a safe surgical procedure.
